It celebrated its 12th edition in Vitoria-Gasteiz

CRN has been present at the XII edition of the National Congress on Environmental Impact Assessment – CONEIA 2024 organized by the Spanish Association of Environmental Impact Assessment. With the motto «Environmental Assessment as a guarantee of social, environmental, and economic sustainability,» it was held in Vitoria-Gasteiz on April 10, 11, and 12.

The broad participation of environmental assessment professionals; government technicians, consultants, and developers, has allowed for the sharing of diverse experiences regarding the progress, current situation, and future of environmental assessment within the framework of energy transition in our country.

During the different sessions, examples of sustainability, R&D innovation, and adaptation have been highlighted, all under the approach of necessary citizen and territorial participation in decision-making regarding the implementation of renewable energy projects. These examples are undoubtedly applicable to other types of projects, such as mining.
